Shannon Aviza

Shannon Aviza has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Shannon began their career as a Hostess Server at Medway Restaurant from December 2017 to January 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Content Creator for Rookie Road, where they created original sports content. During the same year, they also worked as a Streaming Support Specialist for SIDEARM Sports, providing technical support for streaming broadcasts of collegiate athletic programs.

From 2017 to 2021, Shannon was a Student Athlete at Syracuse University, serving as the captain and a four-year starter for the women's soccer team. Shannon dedicated over 20 hours per week to training, games, community involvement, and team events. Additionally, they were the Head Lead for Team Impact, a nonprofit organization that connects children with serious illnesses or disabilities with local college athletic teams.

Shannon also had experience as a Beverage Cart Attendant at Shining Rock Golf Club from May 2018 to July 2021 and at Pleasant Valley Country Club from May 2019 to August 2020. In 2021, they became a Student Athlete at St. John's University, where they simultaneously pursued a master's degree while playing soccer.

In 2022, Shannon signed a 10-month contract as a Professional Athlete with FC Gintra, a women's professional soccer club in Lithuania. Shannon competed in the UEFA Women's Champions League and developed intercultural competence through travel and time spent with teammates and locals.

Currently, Shannon is an Enterprise Business Development Representative at 6sense, starting in April 2023.

Shannon Aviza obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cyber and Information Security from St. John's University in the years 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, Shannon attended Syracuse University School of Information Studies from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Management and Technology. Additionally, from 2017 to 2021, Shannon also studied at Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management, earning another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Marketing. Before pursuing higher education, Shannon graduated from Medway High School in 2014, obtaining a High School Diploma.

In terms of certifications, Shannon has obtained several certifications through LinkedIn.
