Molly Brown

Leading a team of remote sensing scientists based in the United States, China and India, Molly ensures that 6th Grain products use the best possible science, data and models to determine disease alarms, farmer recommendations and yield monitoring in their tools. She worked at NASA Space Flight Center for over fifteen years as a contractor and civil servant in the Biospheric Sciences Branch, supporting science, missions and applications activities. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tufts University and a master’s and doctoral degree in Geography from the University of Maryland. She has published over 120 journal articles and book chapters, and two books.
