Alex Brandt

Alex Brandt currently serves as the Chief Science Officer for Microbiology at Certified Group, a position held since November 2017, following a role as Director of Technical Services at Food Safety Net Services from May 2014 to October 2017. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Animal Science with a focus on Food Microbiology from Texas Tech University, as well as a Ph.D. and M.S. in Animal Sciences and Food Science and Technology, respectively, from Colorado State University and Texas A&M University, where a B.S. in Food Science and Technology was also obtained.
