Karen Jordan

Karen Jordan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Karen started their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Accountant, where they conducted audits for healthcare, financial service, and manufacturing clients. Karen also supervised and mentored staff accountants during their time there. After that, they joined Packer Thomas as an Audit Manager, where they planned, coordinated, and performed audits for financial services and not-for-profit clients. Karen also prepared tax returns and analyzed financial statements.

Following their tenure at Packer Thomas, Karen joined ValleyCare Health System of Ohio. Initially, they served as the Director of Internal Audit, responsible for examining and evaluating the organization's governance, risk management process, and internal control system. Karen also conducted various audits, including those related to physician contracts, vendor contracts, daily charge capture, and accounts payable. Later, they transitioned to the role of Manager of Patient Accounting, Financial Controls & Reimbursement. In this position, Karen provided leadership and direction to several departments, overseeing cash posting and reconciliation processes, account adjustments, and financial reporting.

In 2013, Karen joined Turning Technologies as an Accounting Manager. During their time there, they managed accounting functions and contributed to financial operations. Finally, Karen currently serves as the Vice President and Manager of Accounting & Finance at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, where they maintain financial records, prepares financial statements, and safeguards the organization's assets.

Karen Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State University from 1991 to 1995. Karen also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Ohio Accountancy Board, obtained in 1997.
