AnnMaria De Mars

President at 7 Generation Games

AnnMaria De Mars has a long and varied work experience. AnnMaria began their career in 1985 with The Julia Group, where they served as President, providing statistical consulting, evaluation research, statistical programming, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis. In 2001, they became Vice President of Spirit Lake Consulting, Inc., where they developed blended learning applications for staff training in health care, social services and management and wrote grant proposals funded for over $1 million in research and development support. In 2008, they began working as an Adjunct Professor of Statistics and Research Methods at Pepperdine University and a Senior Statistical Consultant at the University of Southern California. In 2015, they became President of 7 Generation Games, where they designed and developed educational games to teach mathematics, with an emphasis on meeting the needs of Native American and Spanish-speaking students. AnnMaria also wrote grants and proposals for research and development funding, recruited and supervised staff and wrote code. In 2018, they joined Start-Up Chile as a Seed G19 and in 2022, they began working as an Academic Programs Development Coordinator at California Indian Nations College.

AnnMaria De Mars received their Ph.D. in Applied Statistics, Tests and Measurement from the University of California, Riverside between 1985 and 1990. AnnMaria received their MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management in 1980, and their BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis between 1975 and 1978.
