Yun Wu

Yun Wu is a Senior Process Engineer at 8 Rivers, contributing to Blue Hydrogen Development through expertise in Aspen Plus simulation, PFD, P&ID, heat and material balance, Hazop, and heat exchanger integration since December 2022. Prior to this role, Yun served as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from September 2019 to December 2022, focusing on encapsulation technologies for integrating natural functional ingredients into food products. From July 2012 to July 2016, Yun worked as a Chemical Process Engineer at Shanghai Hanxing Energy Technology Co., Ltd., where responsibilities included developing hydrogen solutions and coordinating multi-functional project teams. Yun holds a PhD in Food Science and Technology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (2018-2022), a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Hefei University of Technology (2009-2012), and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry from Anhui Science and Technology University (2005-2009).
