Douglas Waldal

Douglas Waldal's work experience includes a range of leadership roles in various companies. Douglas is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of 80/20 since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Echo Engineering & Production Supplies, Inc. from 2019 to 2021. From 2015 to 2018, they held the position of President & CEO at GTO Access Systems, LLC, which is a Nortek company. Before that, they worked as the Vice President & General Manager at Belden Inc. from 2009 to 2015. Douglas also had significant roles at Newell Brands, DYMO, Brady Corporation, and Johnson Outdoors, where they gained experience in general management, global business units, product management, and manufacturing engineering.

Douglas Waldal obtained an MBA in Marketing from Marquette University, and a BS in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Douglas also completed the General Management Executive Leadership Program at Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School. In addition to their formal education, Douglas Waldal has certifications in Black Belt/Lean Six Sigma and Operations Management. Douglas has also received training in Strategic Selling/Large Account Management Process/Conceptual Selling from the Miller Heiman Group.
