Deion S. Hawkins, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Argumentation & Advocacy and Director of Debate at Emerson College School of Communication since August 2018, where responsibilities include leading the speech and debate team to enhance the college's brand visibility. Currently serving as Senior Editor of The Reckoning at The Counter Narrative Project, an organization focused on reshaping narratives surrounding Black LGBTQ+ individuals, Deion S. Hawkins also holds the position of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Manager at 826 Boston and is the Founder and Lead Facilitator/Consultant at S107 Solutions, LLC, offering workshops and coaching in communication and diversity.
