Assaf Barnea

Assaf Barnea is an experienced executive in the healthcare and technology sectors, currently serving as CEO of Sanara Ventures since March 2014, a joint venture focused on early-stage digital health and medical devices. Additionally, Assaf is a member of 8400 - The Health Network and has held chairman positions at NanoDrops and Lydus Medical, along with a board member role at TailorMed. Assaf chaired the Life Science Advisory Board at the Israel Export Institute and previously served as chairperson for MyHomeDoc until January 2024. Assaf's extensive background includes a consultancy role with the World Bank/IFC venture capital team and leadership as CEO of Kinrot Ventures. With a foundation in law and business from Reichman University, Assaf co-founded Cardiosense, a medical device startup, and has a strong track record in venture investments, particularly in cleantech and medical innovations.
