Eran Ophir

Eran Ophir currently serves as Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of Research and Drug Discovery at Compugen, roles held since September 2015, following various leadership positions within the company. Additionally, Eran Ophir is a member of 8400 The Health Network since October 2022. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, focusing on immunotherapy for ovarian cancer, and a Ph.D. in Immunology from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where research centered on adoptive T cell therapy. Earlier roles included research assistant positions at the Weizmann Institute and Tel Aviv University, contributing to immune-based therapies and bioinformatics software development. Eran Ophir holds a B.Sc. in Bioinformatics from Tel Aviv University.
