Gal Jacob Cohen

Gal Jacob Cohen, MD, serves as the Medical Director at AEYE Health since January 2023 and has been an Ophthalmology Resident at Sheba Tel HaShomer City of Health since May 2018, providing eye care in both outpatient and emergency settings while gaining surgical training. Additionally, Gal is involved as an intern in the program for medical innovation and technology at 8400 The Health Network and the Israeli Medical Association, contributing to advancements in medical innovation and entrepreneurship in Israel. Prior experience includes a Business Development Manager role at ironSource from March 2015 to July 2019 and service as a Captain in the Israeli Air Force from January 2007 to August 2013, where Gal held various positions including company commander and project manager in weaponry R&D. Gal completed medical education at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, earning an MD degree in 2020.
