Liyam Chitayat

Liyam Chitayat serves as a Research Fellow at The Council on Strategic Risks and the Fannie and John Hertz Foundation, alongside a Researcher position at Stealth Mode Biotech. Liyam is a member of the 8400 The Health Network and has previously held strategic advisory roles at Nucleate Israel, where Liyam founded and managed a team of researchers focused on enhancing the Israeli biotech ecosystem. With experience as Executive Vice President of Global Strategy and Director of Global Ecosystems at Nucleate, Liyam facilitated the development of local entities bridging academia and industry across over 20 countries. Liyam's background includes product development at the Directorate of Defense Research & Development, R&D at AUGMANITY NANO LTD, and leadership at iGEM TAU. Liyam's academic journey involves a PhD in Computational Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and advanced degrees in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, complemented by a BS in Chemistry and Biology.
