Ofer Gonen

Ofer Gonen serves as the Chief Executive Officer of MediWound Ltd. since July 2022 and has been a member of 8400 - The Health Network since July 2019. Previously, Gonen held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Cactus Acquisition Corp from October 2021 to February 2024 and at Clal Biotechnology Industries from September 2003 to June 2022, where Gonen also served as Vice President. Additional board memberships include Gamida Cell Ltd., Elicio Therapeutics, eXIthera Pharmaceuticals, and Anchiano Therapeutics. Gonen was a Managing Partner at both Anatomy Medical Technologies and Arte Venture Group. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Economics from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
