Pini Akiva

Pini Akiva serves as the Chief Executive Officer of KI Research Institute since October 2018 and as a Member of 8400 The Health Network since October 2022. Previously, Pini Akiva held roles as Chief Data Officer and Bioinformatics Senior Scientist at Medial Research from 2009 to March 2019, and worked as a Bioinformatician at the Cancer Research Center - Sheba Medical Center from 2007 to 2012. Pini Akiva began a career in bioinformatics as a Bioinformatics Researcher at Compugen Ltd. from 2000 to 2009. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Human Genetics from Tel Aviv University (2007-2012), a Master of Science in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology from Bar-Ilan University (2003-2006), and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Molecular Cellular and Medical Biology from Bar-Ilan University (1997-2001).
