Mitchell Meyer

Mitchell Meyer has a strong background in software development and engineering. Mitchell currently works as a Lead Software Engineer at 84.51° since April 2022. Prior to that, Mitchell worked as a Tech Lead at the same company from June 2019 to February 2020.

Before joining 84.51°, Mitchell gained experience as a Junior Software Engineer at the company from May 2017 to January 2019. In this role, they focused on platform configuration, testing practices, automation tasks using Sql/Oracle and Automic, and developing services using Spark and Scala.

Mitchell also has experience working as a UCIT Software Developer at the University of Cincinnati from November 2015 to November 2016. During this time, they created a web API using .NET MVC to replace an existing API built in Cobalt.

Earlier in their career, Mitchell worked as a Web Developer at First Energy from May 2016 to August 2016 and as a Software Developer at the same company from January 2015 to August 2015. Mitchell was responsible for developing internal websites using ASP.NET MVC and was involved in all aspects of website development, including back-end (SQL), front-end (Razor/HTML & CSS/Javascript), and business logic (C#).

Additionally, Mitchell gained experience as a Software Developer at First Energy in May 2014 and as a Programmer at Siemens PLM Software from August 2013 to December 2013.

Mitchell Meyer obtained a Baccalaureate degree in Information Tech - Software App Devel and a minor in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Cincinnati between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Lakota East High School from 2009 to 2012. Mitchell also received a Full Stack Web Development Certification in Computer Software Engineering from freeCodeCamp in 2015 to 2017.
