Angie Vassar, M.S., PMP

Angie Vassar, M.S., PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they are the Head of Program Management and Leadership at 858 Therapeutics since March 2023. Before that, they worked at Kinnate Biopharma Inc. from February 2020 to March 2023, holding roles such as Development Lead, Sr Director and Director Program Management. Prior to that, they were an Associate Director, Program Management and Senior Manager, Program Management at Gossamer Bio from April 2018 to February 2020. Angie also worked at Intercept Pharmaceuticals from September 2015 to March 2018, where they held positions as Senior Manager, Program Management and Manager, Program Management. Earlier in their career, they worked as an R&D Scientist and Outsourcing Manager at Takeda San Diego, Inc. from April 2006 to September 2015. Before that, they were an R&D Research Scientist at Ligand Pharmaceuticals from January 2004 to March 2006 and a Staff Chemist at Merck from September 2002 to January 2004.

Angie Vassar, M.S., PMP completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UC Irvine in the years 1995 to 1999. Angie then pursued a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside from 2000 to 2002. Later on, they obtained another Master's degree in Regulatory Affairs from San Diego State University between 2010 and 2013.
