Ragan Rhyne

VP, Development at ProPublica

Ragan Rhyne is the Vice President of Development at ProPublica. Ragan has over fifteen years of experience working in the non-profit sector, with a focus on fundraising and strategic planning.

Rhyne began their career as a Development Associate at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum in 1999. Ragan then spent two years as the Membership Manager at Slow Food USA before joining the World Monuments Fund in 2005. Rhyne spent five years at the World Monuments Fund, during which time they were promoted to Manager of Membership and Individual Giving.

In 2010, Rhyne left the World Monuments Fund to join the ACLU as their Deputy Director of Leadership Gifts. Ragan spent three years at the ACLU before moving to Prospect Park Alliance, where they served as Vice President of Development for two years.

In 2014, Rhyne joined the International Center of Photography as their Senior Director of Development and Strategic Programming. Ragan spent one year at the International Center of Photography before joining ProPublica in October 2015.

Ragan Rhyne has a Ph.D in Film Studies from New York University, a BA in Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin, and an AA in Liberal Arts from Bard College at Simon's Rock.
