John Holleran has a diverse work experience spanning over the past 19 years. In 2002, they began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Duquesne University. In 2006, they completed their Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. John then moved on to become a Research Fellow at Griffith University from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as a Scientist II Chemical Biology - Group Leader and Scientist - Assay Development at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. Most recently, they have been a Principal Scientist at 858 Therapeutics since 2021.
John Holleran obtained their B.S. in Biological Sciences from Duquesne University between 2002 and 2006. John then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed in 2011.
