Allister Caird

Allister Caird is an experienced professional in geology and geophysics with a robust background in exploration and geoscience. Currently serving as Exploration Manager and Petroleum Geologist at 88 Energy Ltd since September 2019, Allister previously held the position of Senior Research Geoscientist at CSIRO, specializing in seismic interpretation and structural modeling. Prior roles include Senior Subject Matter Expert at DataCo Global, and extensive experience at Schlumberger as a Procurement and Sourcing Leader and Geoscientist. Allister also contributed significantly as an onsite geoscience consultant at Woodside Energy and worked as a Geophysical Field Technician at GPX Surveys. Allister holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics from The University of Western Australia and completed a course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2022.
