Jorge Osorio Velasquez

Jorge Osorio Velasquez has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2004 as a Lead Technical for Princeton S.A. In 2007, they were promoted to Director of Production for the same company. In 2008, they moved to Servinte-Carvajal S.A. as a Head of Software Development. In 2012, they took on multiple roles, including Gerente de Proyectos de Software for Roldan Logistica S.A. and Especialista Tecnico Senior for ISSC-IBM Colombia. In 2013, they became Gerente de Operaciones y Proyectos for Intergrupo. In 2016, they joined Ilumno as Gerente de Desarrollo de Software y Arquitectura, and in 2019 they took on the role of COO - Director de Operaciones de Tecnologia for Tech and Solve. Most recently, in 2022, they became Director of 8base Colombia.

Jorge Osorio Velasquez has a diverse educational background. Jorge obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad EAFIT between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed an Advanced English course at Kaplan Law School in 2011. In 2010, they earned a Diploma in Project Risk Management from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito. In 2008 to 2010, they pursued a specialization in Project Management in Systems from Universidad del Rosario. Jorge completed their Ingeniería de Sistemas y Telecomunicaciones from Universidad de Manizales in 2004. Additionally, they hold certifications such as the EF SET English Certificate C1 Advanced from EF Standard English Test (EF SET), AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Transformación Digital Empresarial en la revolución 4.0 from Instituto Europa, DevOps con un café from LinkedIn, Implementación de un modelo de innovación en la Empresa from Instituto Europa, Microservicios con un café from LinkedIn, Desarrollo de Habilidades Financieras from Intersoftware, Transformación Digital from Universidad de La Sabana, PMP from Project Management Institute, ITIL Foundation, and Scrum Master.
