Bela Becerra

Bela Becerra is a seasoned professional with a robust background in economics and finance. Currently serving as a Principal at 8VC since June 2018, Bela is also a member of the founding team at Figure 1 since April 2020. Previous experience includes roles at Morgan Stanley as a Summer Analyst from June 2016 to June 2017, and positions with Stanford Women in Business and the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research as a Senior Development Board member and Student Research Assistant/Event Coordinator, respectively. An early career as CFO at Zoom for Kids further highlights entrepreneurial expertise, alongside a foundational role as a Summer Analyst at East West Bank. Bela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Stanford University, where education was completed from 2014 to 2018, following a high school education at Westridge School for Girls.
