Saúl Ibarra Corretgé

Saúl Ibarra Corretgé is a Principal Software Engineer at 8x8, with a focus on the Jitsi team and contributions to the Jitsi Open Source project since November 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Developer at Atlassian from January 2017 to October 2018, where involvement in the Jitsi Open Source project and integration with Atlassian Stride occurred. From November 2009 to December 2016, Saúl acted as R&D Director at AG Projects, leading the development of various projects within the Real Time Communications ecosystem, including SylkServer and associated technologies. Earlier roles as a VoIP Engineer at Irontec and SpeechWorks España SL provided foundational experience. Academic qualifications include a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Deusto and a Technical Engineering degree from Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea - Universidad del País Vasco.
