Ben Claar

Ben Claar has been with 9 Story Media Group since March 2020, progressing from Coordinator to Manager in Consumer Products, where responsibilities include identifying business development opportunities and leading sales processes for popular properties such as Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Karma’s World. Prior experience includes roles as a Set Production Assistant at Spiffy Pictures, Staff Writer at Nexo Productions, and a Weekly Cartoonist for The Daily Pennsylvanian, where over 75 cartoons were published. Additional experience includes internships in production and editorial roles with Berlanti Productions and Marc Platt Productions, as well as assisting in the development of a graphic novel with Avalanche Comics Entertainment. Ben holds a BA in English, Cinema & Media Studies, and Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing an MS in Media Management at The New School.
