Dion Crannitch has extensive experience in software development, particularly with expertise in iOS engineering. Dion has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. From 1999 to 2006, Dion worked as a Software Developer at ADInstruments, where they developed high-performance data acquisition and analysis software. In 2006, they joined Sony, where they worked on Mac software development and design for XDCAM Transfer. Dion also worked as a Software Developer at Orbis Technology, where they developed online sports betting and casino applications. Dion then joined Skype in 2008 as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where they built user interfaces for Skype's video calling applications. Dion also worked at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer on the Skype for Mac team, focusing on application architecture and the Skype calling experience. In 2015, they joined Blink - Love work as an iOS Engineer, leading the development of the Blink employee messaging platform. Since 2016, Dion has been working at 90 Seconds, initially as the iOS Engineering Lead and later as the Director of Mobile Engineering. In this role, they lead a mobile team in developing iOS and Android apps that enable brands and creators to create video content on the 90 Seconds video production platform.
Dion Crannitch attended the University of Otago from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, and a Diploma in Graduate Studies (DipGrad). Their studies covered the fields of Computer Science, Physics, and Economics.
