Yash Laddha is an accomplished international chess player with a peak FIDE Classical Rating of 2195, ranking in the FIDE World Top 100 and USA Top 15 across multiple age categories. Since 2015, Yash has participated in over 100 tournaments and 1000 games internationally. Current engagements include roles as a student researcher at the University of Michigan and the New York Academy of Sciences, as well as co-founding Project Chess, a non-profit organization focused on teaching chess to underprivileged youth in India. Yash also contributes to various writing projects, including co-authoring a history book and blogging about biology.
