Eckhard Cloete

Eckhard Cloete has extensive work experience in copywriting and creative roles. Eckhard is currently working as the Creative Group Head: Copy at ninety9cents since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Copywriting lecturer at the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business from July 2020 to January 2022. From 2016 to January 2022, they worked as a freelance conceptual con artist, wordsmith, clutter cutter, and translator. Eckhard also has experience as a Senior Copywriter at Weylandts from April 2017 to July 2020 and at Haas Collective from March 2012 to February 2016. Before that, they worked as a Copywriter at Draft FCB Cape Town from January 2009 to February 2012, AdMakers International from September 2007 to December 2008, and Net#work BBDO from February 2006 to October 2006.

Eckhard Cloete obtained a Bachelor's degree in BA Hons (Afrikaans) from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Later, in 2005, they attended Vega School and earned a BA Honours Degree in Communication Management, specializing in copywriting.
