Sahani Wijethunge

Sahani Wijethunge has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various roles at different companies. Sahani is currently working at 99x as a Senior Executive Human Resources, where they lead the performance management process, handles grievances related to performance and remuneration, and oversees training and development. Prior to this, Sahani worked at Mitra Innovation as a Human Resources Lead. At MAS Holdings, they held multiple positions, including Executive Human Resources - Talent Management, Human Resources Assistant, and Human Resources Intern. In their role at MAS Holdings, Sahani developed organizational structures, implemented the performance management system, and handled projects such as transferring employees to a foreign plant.

Sahani Wijethunge began their education at Visakha Vidyalaya, where they completed their Advance Level and Ordinary Level studies in Commerce, Economics, and Accounting from 2001 to 2014. Sahani then attended the University of Plymouth from 2014 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in International Business and Management. During the same period, they also completed a Certificate course in SAGE at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Srilanka, specializing in International Business.

In 2012, Sahani attended the National Institute of Business Management, where they obtained a CCS (Certified Computer Specialist) certification in Information Technology.

In 2017, they enrolled at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2017 to 2019.

In 2020, Sahani pursued further education at the Chartered Management Institute, obtaining a Diploma of Education in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, in May 2020, they obtained The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google.
