Bernhard Schandl

Bernhard Schandl is the current CTO at 9am.health. Prior to this, they were the Head of Technology at Roche from July 2017 to March 2021. Before Roche, they were the CTO / VP of Engineering at mySugr from January 2013 to March 2021. Bernhard has also worked as a lecturer at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien from February 2009 to June 2015 and at Universität Wien from September 2004 to July 2014. In addition, they were the Co-Founder & CTO at gnowsis.com from September 2009 to December 2012. Their very first job was as a Software Engineer at Kapsch CarrierCom AG from February 1999 to September 1999.

Bernhard Schandl has a Doctor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Vienna and a Master's degree in Business Computer Science from both the Technische Universität Wien and University of Vienna.
