Simi Kandola

Simi Kandola has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles.

Simi started their career at New Look as a Sales Advisor from November 2006 to October 2008. Simi then joined HSBC as a Customer Service Representative from May 2008 to October 2008.

In 2010, Simi joined Iceland Foods and worked as a Sales Advisor from June 2010 to November 2010. Simi was then promoted to Duty Manager from November 2010 to February 2011. After that, they worked as a Training Store Manager from March 2011 to September 2011, where they learned various aspects of store management. Simi finally served as a Home Delivery Manager from September 2011 to July 2012, overseeing home delivery operations and managing customer expectations.

In 2012, Simi joined 9ine Consulting as a Consultant, working with schools, academies, and universities on IT infrastructure projects. Simi later became a Senior Consultant from January 2014 to September 2015, responsible for managing and delivering technology projects for clients. Simi then worked as an Associate Director from September 2015 to February 2016, leading operational improvement and IT project management initiatives. Simi was then promoted to Director from February 2016 to January 2021, where they managed and led large-scale client projects.

Simi also worked briefly at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity as a Digital Project Manager from January 2017 to March 2017.

In April 2017, Simi joined Hampton School as the Director of IT, overseeing IT services and systems across the Trust.

Most recently, Simi joined 9ine Consulting again as the Chief Technology Officer in January 2021, where they are responsible for technology strategy and leading the company's technical team.

Simi Kandola completed their high school education at Frederick Gent School in South Normanton. Afterward, they pursued a BA(hons) degree in Business Information Management at Nottingham Business School, which is a part of Nottingham Trent University. In 2017, Simi obtained a certification as a GDPR Practitioner from AMPG Limited. Additionally, they hold certifications in Certified ScrumMaster, ITIL, and Prince2 Practitioner, although details on the institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided. Simi is also a member of The Chartered Institute for IT, affiliated with the British Computer Society.
