Cezary Dubnicki has a strong background in technology and research. Cezary started their career as a Research Scientist at Princeton University in 1995 and eventually became a Consultant at McKinsey & Co. in 1998. Cezary then worked as the VP of Engineering at Emphora, Inc. from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, they joined Storage Networks as a Senior Director before moving to NEC Labs in 2002. At NEC Labs, Cezary served as the Department Head and was responsible for leading the Hydra research project, which resulted in the development of the HYDRAstor storage platform. In 2008, they founded 9livesdata and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer, overseeing a team of over 80 staff and managing various advanced systems R&D projects for clients such as NEC and Silicon Valley startup.

Cezary Dubnicki holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Rochester. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw.
