Maria Helsing has a strong work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Maria is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at 9Solutions since December 2020. Prior to this, they worked at F-Secure Corporation where they held multiple roles including Technology Strategy Director from May 2018 to November 2020, Service Lead from January 2014 to April 2018, Technical Product Manager from January 2011 to January 2014, and Senior Software Engineer from January 2008 to December 2013. At the beginning of their career, Maria worked as a Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland from June 2005 to December 2007.
Maria Helsing completed their education at the Management Institute of Finland MIF Oy from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained a Specialist Vocational Qualification in Leadership and Business Management, Cyber Master. Prior to that, they attended Markkinointi-instituutti from 2015 to 2017, earning a Specialist Qualification in Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership. Maria's academic background dates back to the University of Oulu, where they pursued a Master of Science (Technology) in Information Technology/Embedded Systems and Software from 2000 to 2006.
