Abhay Khandare

Abhay Khandare has a varied work experience in the media and advertising industry. Abhay is currently working as the Group Head Sales- West at 9X Media Pvt. Ltd. since April 2023, and previously served as a Senior Sales Manager in the same company from October 2021 to March 2023. Before joining 9X Media, Abhay worked as a Senior Manager at Zee Media Corporation Limited from September 2019 to August 2021. Abhay also worked as a Deputy Manager at India Today from January 2019 to September 2019. Prior to that, Abhay held the position of Assistant Manager - Ad Sales at Sun TV Network Limited from July 2016 to January 2019. Abhay gained experience in corporate ad sales as an Assistant Manager at Fever 104 FM (HT Media Ltd.) from July 2015 to June 2016. Abhay started their career as a Senior Executive - Ad Sales at Haymarket Media Group from October 2013 to July 2015. Additionally, they worked as an Ad Sales & Marketing Executive at Intermedia Cable Communication Pvt. Ltd. from January 2013 to June 2013. Abhay also gained experience in client servicing and business development as part of their role as Client Servicing and Business Development at Turnhere Design House Pvt Ltd from January 2012 to December 2012. Abhay began their career as a Media Trainee, working at Radio Mirchi and Aegis Media in 2011 for a short period.

Abhay Khandare began their education by completing their SSC degree in Science at Paranjape High-School in Nagpur from 1995 to 2003. Abhay then pursued their HSSC degree in Science at Nutan Bharat College in Nagpur from 2003 to 2005. Abhay continued their educational journey by enrolling in Shivaji Science College in Nagpur, where they obtained their B.Sc in Computer Science from 2006 to 2009. Abhay furthered their studies by pursuing an M.Sc in MCAJ from Punjab Technical University in Pune from 2010 to 2012. Finally, Abhay completed a PGPMM in Mass Media Communication at ISB&M School Of Communication in Pune from 2009 to 2011.
