Lance Stewart is currently the Scientific Advisor at A-Alpha Bio. Lance has also previously served as the Chair of Strategic Advisory Board at Athira Pharma and as a Member of Board of Directors at Tetra Discovery Partners LLC. In their role at Athira Pharma, they worked with a group of advisors and consultants to support Athira's goals for strategic pharma partnering, financing, and development of brain penetrant neurotropic small molecules. At Tetra Discovery Partners LLC, they served as a Member of Board of Directors and was focused on developing new treatments for depression, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Prior to that, they were the Sr. Director of Strategy for the Institute for Protein Design at UW Medicine where they were responsible for leading the institute's efforts in developing computational methods for protein design and applying them to therapeutic discovery.
Lance Stewart has a MBA from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry / Virology from Cornell University, and a B.Sc. in Molecular Genetics from McMaster University.
