Richard de Basto

Richard de Basto is a legal consultant with extensive experience in financial and corporate law, currently associated with Peerpoint, Linklaters, and AG Integrate since 2014 and 2018, respectively. Prior to these roles, Richard served as a Partner at Mourant Ozannes in the Cayman Islands from 2008 to 2014, where leadership was provided to the Finance Department. Richard's earlier career includes a significant tenure at Allen & Overy from 1992 to 2008, progressing from Trainee to Partner within the Global Loans Group, specializing in various areas such as general corporate lending, project finance, and Islamic finance. Richard holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Exeter and has foundational education from Eton College.
