A Better Tomorrow Education

Since 2009 A Better Tomorrow Education provides secular, year round, supplemental instruction in language arts, reading and mathematics to children in grades kindergarten though twelfth grade. Children attend instructional sessions during the following hours outside their school schedule: after school, evenings, Saturday and Sundays. Sessions are offered Monday through Friday between 2:15pm and 8pm, and Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm. Each instructional session lasts two-hours, giving a grand total of four (4) hours of instruction per week. Children complete a total of ten (10) weeks instruction for a total of forty (40) hours of instruction. Each child begins with a standardize pre-assessment and evaluation. Once completed, a plan is put in place to accelerate the learning of the child back to grade level and beyond. A personalized education plan-“Advancement Learning Plan (ALP)”- is designed to manage children through various academic topics and set the platform for future progression from level to level. Children are taught in 1 to 4 small group formats not exceeding four children to one teacher, or the most common 1 on 1 format method with one student and one teacher. Instruction is available to the parents’ availability and limited to the following locations: family home, public libraries and private sites provided by A Better Tomorrow Education.
