Melissa M. Gilmore

Melissa M. Gilmore, MEd., CVA is an experienced professional in volunteer management and education. Currently serving as a Literacy Team/PALs Tutor with Chesterfield County Public Schools since September 2021, Melissa has previously held positions such as Mission Advancement Coordinator for Girls on the Run - Greater Richmond and Managing Partner at Make It Happen Now, LLC, where responsibilities included coaching and facilitating strong volunteer engagement for nonprofits. Melissa has also served as Faculty for The Community Foundation, focusing on volunteerism courses for nonprofit management certification. Prior experience includes directing volunteerism and special events for the American Lung Association. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Longwood University and is a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA).
