Tony Frasca, MD, is a seasoned physician with extensive experience in psychiatric care. Currently serving as the Owner and Physician at Zen Psychiatric Services, PLLC since December 2020, and as a Physician at UNC Health Blue Ridge and A Caring Alternative, LLC since October 2019 and March 2017 respectively, Tony has built a diverse clinical practice. Previously, Tony held significant roles at Broughton State Hospital from April 2005 to December 2010, including Associate Director of Clinical Operations and Chief Psychiatrist. Earlier clinical experience included a position at the Erie County Medical Center Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program from October 2003 to April 2005. Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina, and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from the University of South Carolina.

We are a comprehensive care agency providing mental health and substance abuse services to adults, adolescents, and children in western North Carolina. As a provider of mental health and developmental disability services, we have been in business since 2006.
