Heather Wilson

Heather Wilson is a seasoned technical communicator and writer, currently serving at A-dec Inc. and Ruckus Composites since May 2022 and May 2021, respectively. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at OMSI from May 2007 to May 2022, where roles encompassed technical writing, management of traveling exhibits, collections management, and various educational positions. Heather's professional background also includes forensic science at Oregon State Police and research assistant roles at Oregon Health and Science University. Additionally, strong academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Paleobiology from The University of Manchester and a Master's degree in Zoology from the University of Cambridge, complemented by extensive teaching experience as an adjunct professor at Southern Connecticut State University and a university lecturer at Keele University.
