Melanie Martin

Melanie Martin has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Melanie is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer - Asia Pacific at A-Gas, where they are responsible for the company's businesses in Australia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, and China. Prior to this, they worked at A-GAS South Africa, starting as a Management Accountant in May 2013 and progressing to roles of Financial Manager and Finance Director. Before joining A-GAS, Melanie was employed at E Cash Systems as a Finance Operations Manager, overseeing online payment processing and managing cashflow for an international company. Melanie also worked at ADT Fire and Security UK as a Project Management Assistant early on in their career.

Melanie Martin's education history begins with their high school education at Linkside High School, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Upon graduating, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting at Nelson Mandela University from 2002 to 2004. Melanie then went on to obtain their Chartered Management Accountant degree from CIMA, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Melanie has also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they became a Chartered Global Management Accountant through CGMA. Later, in 2022, they achieved the CPA certification from CPA Australia. Most recently, in 2023, Melanie completed the Dare to Lead training from Dare to Lead™ Trained.
