Matt Barse is an experienced media professional and educator actively involved in various roles within the film and podcasting industry. Currently serving as a Podcast Editor and Contributor for the Reel Indigenous Podcast, Matt focuses on discussing the representation of Native and Indigenous Americans in media. As the owner of Lowdown Entertainment, Matt engages in writing, producing, directing, and editing diverse media projects. Additionally, Matt has contributed as a Video Production Instructor at the Chickasaw Arts Academy, teaching video production to youth. With a solid educational background that includes degrees and certificates from prestigious institutions such as UCLA and the University of Oklahoma, Matt possesses a strong foundation in screenwriting and digital cinema production. Other professional experiences include bartending and managing daily operations in the hospitality sector, as well as freelance video editing for legal cases.
