Markus Saari

Markus Saari has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Markus has worked as a Director of Project Development at A-Insinöörit since 2019 and at Rakennuttajatoimisto Allianssi Oy from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they were the Director of Major Projects at NCC from 2016 to 2017. Markus also worked as a Project Director at Espoon kaupunki - Esbo stad - City of Espoo from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they held the position of Director of International Development at WSP in Finland from 2006 to 2012. In addition, they have worked as a Managing Director/Adviser to the Ministry of Environment of Latvia at Scandinavian Baltic Group Ltd. from 2004 to 2006, and as a Task Manager/Project development and construction management at the European Commission from 2001 to 2004. Markus has also held various project management roles at Jaakko Pöyry Development Ltd., Jaakko Pöyry - Soil and Water, and LT Consultants ltd. Markus'sexpertise includes project development, construction management, tendering, contract negotiation, and international marketing.

Markus Saari completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Oulu from 1981 to 1990.
