Kelly Thompson has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, with a focus on ecommerce and operations. Kelly is currently a board member at a.k.a Brands, and was previously the SVP, Chief Operating Officer at Samsclub.com. Kelly has also held leadership positions at First Hawaiian, Turtle Beach, and Walmart.

Kelly is a strategic leader with a proven track record of driving growth and improving operational efficiency. At Samsclub.com, they led the strategy and execution for "Free Shipping for Plus", which improved shipping speeds and costs. Kelly also established the Voice of Member team to improve NPS scores, and upgraded key talent to support thenext several billion of growth.

Under their leadership, the company delivered GMV growth that outpaced the industry and beat plan. Kelly also accelerated segment comp contribution two years in a row, increased NPS scores, Plus member penetration, and all cohort metrics. In their first year, they improved operating margins while continuing to make sound investments in growth.

Kelly is also committed to Diversity & Inclusion efforts, and has been involved in training, sponsorship of Women's Resource Council, robust mentoring schedule and speaking events.

Kelly Thompson attended UC San Diego where they obtained their Bachelor's of Science in Biology/Animal Physiology & Neuroscience. Prior to that, they attended Dana Hills High School and Palm Beach Currumbin High School (AUS).
