John Kenn (Jay)

Jay John Kenn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Research Data Analyst/Planner at A-Line E.D.S., Inc. since April 2015. In this role, Jay is responsible for researching and tracking transmission and distribution equipment, facilitating oil testing work orders, and managing the removal or replacement of contaminated equipment. Prior to this, Jay spent 36 years at ComEd, where roles included First Line Supervisor for Transmission & Substation, overseeing maintenance and construction work while ensuring safety and compliance, as well as Planner/Scheduler, managing work schedules and switching requests. Jay also has hands-on experience as a Transmission & Substation Crewleader, contributing to significant projects in both nuclear and fossil generation across the Northern Region of Illinois.
