Margaret Dooley-Sammuli

Margaret Dooley-Sammuli is the current Chief Strategist at A New Way of Life, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to that, they were a Consultant from January 2019 to December 2020. From January 2017 to December 2019, Dooley-Sammuli served as a Senior Campaign Strategist at the ACLU. From January 2015 to December 2018, they were the Criminal Justice & Drug Policy Director at the ACLU of California. Dooley-Sammuli was also the Director at ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties from January 2012 to July 2019. Margaret began their career as the Deputy State Director at the Drug Policy Alliance in January 2005 and held that position until December 2012.
