Derrick W Amare

Derrick Wejebu Amare is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing scalable backend architectures and enhancing software performance. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at IpserLab since May 2023, Derrick has been instrumental in creating systems that efficiently manage high volumes of concurrent video calls. Previously, Derrick worked at GAOTek Inc. for a brief period, focusing on coding and bug resolution using Java and other programming languages. Derrick's experience also includes a role as a Java Developer at iNeuron.ai, where timely project completion and skill development were prioritized. Prior to the software engineering roles, Derrick founded and managed Headway Travel Consult from June 2020 to April 2022, overseeing operations and financial management to fuel growth. Derrick is an alumnus of HiLCoE School of Computer Science & Technology.
