Jeff Richards

Jeff Richards has been working in the software engineering field since 2004. Jeff began their career at APT (A-P-T Research, Inc.) as the Director of the Software Engineering Division. In this role, they were a results-driven leader and analytical engineer with a record of success developing and executing strategies and programs that engaged and united diverse missions and organizations. Jeff was also skilled at creating a compelling vision, communicating a call to action, and building high-performing teams. In addition, they were a recognized industry leader with excellent communication and expertise in topics on leadership, systems engineering, software development, process improvement, system safety, software safety, and risk management.

In 2016, Jeff Richards moved to APT Research, Inc. where they took on the role of Program Manager and Senior Software Safety Engineer. In this role, they provided program management as well as software safety expertise to multiple programs. Jeff managed a team of personnel to accomplish system and software safety tasking and currently supports ground based vehicle(s) and gun mount programs.

Jeff Richards holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Alabama.
