Crystal Osterbuhr has been working in the field of instructional design since 2006. Crystal began their career as a Lead Teacher and Instructional Designer for Downtown Babies and Kids. In 2015, they moved to Volusia County School District as a Teacher and Instructional Designer. In 2018, they began working as an Instructional Designer for the University of Central Florida. In 2019, Osterbuhr started working as an Instructional Designer, Mentor, and Leader for eLearning & Instructional Design for Beginners, a program committed to helping people navigate their instructional design career. Additionally, they became the Founder and Community Leader of eLearning & Instructional Design for Beginners, a program which has trained over 1,000 members on topics such as Instructional Design Strategies, Methods, Portfolio Building, Instructional Material Development, Instructor Guides, Project Collaboration, and Soft Skills. Crystal also works as an Instructional Designer for A Pass Educational Group, LLC.

Crystal Osterbuhr completed their Master of Arts in Instructional Design and eLearning from the University of Central Florida in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Education - MEd from Daytona State College in 2017. Crystal also has a Professional Educator Certificate from the Florida Department of Education, which they obtained in May 2018. Crystal's education history further includes their studies in Child Development and Psychology at Florida State University, which they completed in 2009. Additionally, Crystal has obtained certifications from LinkedIn in B2B Foundations: Content Marketing and Nano Tips for Landing Your Dream Job with Austin Belcak, both in October 2022.
