Kelly (Ball) Alvarado serves as the Director of Instructional Design at UMass Global since October 2018 and has held roles including Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Instructional Design and Digital Learning, as well as Adjunct Instructor. Since April 2009, Kelly has also contributed to Brandman University - Chapman University System in various capacities, including Lead Instructional Designer and Manager of Academic Technology Support. Previous experience includes the position of Lead Instructional Technology Specialist at Chapman University from April 2011 to February 2013. Currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a focus on Instructional Design & Technology from Idaho State University, Kelly holds multiple degrees including a Master's of Humanities from Tiffin University, a Master’s in Educational/Instructional Technology from Brandman University, a Master of Science in Child Life from the University of La Verne, and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from California State University, Long Beach.
