Laura Mills has over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a strong background in development, data analysis, and grant writing. Laura has worked with organizations such as A Place Called Home and Friends of the Children-Boston in various roles, including Director of Data & Analytics and Development and Evaluation Manager. Laura's expertise lies in fundraising, grant administration, and database management, and Laura is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Diverse Community Development Leadership at California State University, Northridge.

A Place Called Home
A Place Called Home (APCH) is a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles where under-served youth are empowered to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, arts and well-being, and are inspired to make a meaningful difference in their communities and the world. Core programs work in conjunction with one another to support APCH members in avoiding destructive behaviors by developing life skills and providing motivation to overcome adversity, make healthy, productive choices and take advantage of the opportunities which lie before them.
