Philippa Crowne has a wide range of experience in development roles, working with organizations focused on youth empowerment, community organizing, and the arts. Philippa currently serves as the Director of Development at A Place Called Home, following previous roles as Director of Development at Red Hook Initiative and Executive Assistant/Development Coordinator at Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring. With a Bachelor's degree in Dance Studies from Bard College, Philippa also has experience interning at renowned dance companies such as Parsons Dance Company and Trisha Brown Dance Company. Philippa's dedication to supporting community initiatives and youth empowerment shines through in their professional history.

A Place Called Home
A Place Called Home (APCH) is a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles where under-served youth are empowered to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, arts and well-being, and are inspired to make a meaningful difference in their communities and the world. Core programs work in conjunction with one another to support APCH members in avoiding destructive behaviors by developing life skills and providing motivation to overcome adversity, make healthy, productive choices and take advantage of the opportunities which lie before them.
